Ending Your Tenancy
When your tenancy comes to an end, both you and the landlord must follow proper procedures. To end a periodic tenancy, give written notice as specified in your agreement (typically 1 month). For fixed-term tenancies, discuss renewal or ending with us before the term expires.
Upon moving out, the property should be clean and in good condition. We'll schedule a final inspection to document the property's condition before returning your deposit (minus any legitimate deductions).
Deposit Protection
Your deposit is protected with a government-approved scheme. At the end of your tenancy, your deposit (minus reasonable deductions for damage beyond wear and tear) will be returned within 30 days. You'll receive details of where your deposit is held, the prescribed information, and the protection scheme's contact details.
